Having diverse characters in your drawing can really breathe life into your art. However, finding references for different body types can be extremely challenging. The good news is, Magic Poser's Body Morphs menu allows you to easily create the body type you want for any variety of characters, including muscular, fat, or skinny characters!
Let's take a look at how you can access these customizations.
Open the Body Morphs menu
- In 3D Editor, tap to select a character in your scene to open the Action menu at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap the Customize button
to open the Customize menu.
- Then tap the Body Morphs tab
at the bottom left-hand corner.
Adjust body morphs
- In the Body Morphs menu, select the body morph you want to adjust in the top menu. For example, tap “Muscular” from the top menu to adjust the muscle amount on the model.
- You can set the amount of morph you want by dragging on the slider with 0 being no morph and 100 being full morph. In this example, dragging the slider all the way to 100 will make your model look most muscular.
Enter a number for the morph
You can also get the exact amount you want using number entry in the Body Morphs menu:
- In the Body Morphs menu, select the body morph you want to adjust in the top menu. For example, tap “Muscular” from the top menu to adjust the muscle amount on the model.
- Tap on the number pill next to the slider and enter a number between 0 and 100, with 0 being no morph and 100 being full morph. In this example, we set the skinny morph of the female character to 50.
Combination body types
You can also combine different body morphs by setting different amounts for each body morph. For example, you can apply both the muscular morph and fat morph to your character:
- First, select "Muscular" from the top of the Body Morphs menu, and drag the slider to somewhere half way.
- Second, select "Fat" from the top of the Body Morphs menu, and drag the slider to somewhere half way.
- You will see a muscular guy with some more fat.
Try dragging on the different sliders yourself to see interesting results!
