Focus on selected object
"Focus on selected object" button is located at the top of the Views menu. It allows you to quickly center the camera around the selected object. That object will become the new "pivot" of the camera. It is very handy when you are creating a big scene and you want to quickly jump between different objects. The following example shows how the center of the camera changes when you click "focus on selected object" button. The center is first between the male and female character, but then switches to the female character:
Double click to focus
If you are building a big scene, going to the Views menu every time you want to change the focus of the camera can be troublesome. Good news, there's a much easier way. You can simply double click on an object to center the camera around it. It is also covered in our Object selection and action menu tutorial.
Save and load camera views
Sometimes you have found a particularly good angle for the scene that you have created. However, you need to rotate the camera to pose the character or edit the scene. It can be hard to get back to that perfect angle that you found before. This is exactly why we have a feature for you to save and load camera views. You can save as many camera views as you want, and load them back as well!
The camera views section is located under the "focus on selected object" section.
Save a camera view
- In the camera views section, tap on the blue "Add".
- You can rename the camera view by tapping on the default name "Untitled" and enter in your own preferred name.
Load a camera view
- In the camera views section, click on the camera view that you want to load.
- The camera view will be loaded in the 3D scene.
Change perspective
You can give your scene more impact by changing the perspective using the perspective slider:
- In the Views menu, scroll down to the "Perspective" section.
- To change the perspective, drag on the slider. A larger value gives you a more impactful perspective.
- To reset the perspective to default value, tap on the blue "Reset".
Look at
There are 6 predefined directions in which you can view your scene: top, bottom, front, back, left and right. To use these predefined viewing directions:
- Open the views menu and scroll down to the "Look at" section.
- Tap on the direction in which you want to view your scene.
