You can also change the environment of the 3D scene, i.e. the sky and the ground, to give many different atmospheres to your scene.
Change time of day
You can change the look of the default blue sky by setting the time of the day. We provide you an option to set the sky to any time during a 24-hours day.
- In Views menu, drag on the time of day slider to change the time of day. The time is displayed next to the slider in HH:MM format.
- To reset the time of day to default, tap on the blue "Reset".
Change environment light strength
You can change the environment light strength to adjust how much influence you want the sky light to have on your overall scene. For example, if sky is blue and the environment light strength is very high, the scene will get brighter, and you will see a slight blue tint on all the objects in the scene. Another way to see the effect of environment light strength is to remove all the lights in the scene, then whatever light you see left comes from the environment light.
To change the environment light strength:
- In Views menu, drag on the environment light strength slider to change environment light strength.
- To reset the environment light strength to default, tap on the blue "Reset".
Show/hide sky
- In Views menu, scroll to the "Environment" section.
- Toggle the "Show sky" switch to show/hide the sky.
