Here's a list of common questions users have related to pricing, upgrade and downgrade. Please let us know what you would like to see here and we will continue adding to this FAQ document!
Local files
What happens to my local files when I downgrade to a lower tier?
Since you can save unlimited local files in all three versions, you won't lose any of your local files. However, files that are created using features and resources of a higher tier can no longer be opened. For example, if you created a scene with multiple characters during your 7-day free trial of Pro version, you won't be able to open that file again after your free trial expires, unless you upgrade to Pro or Master. Therefore, be sure to export any images/OBJ files you need before you downgrade to a lower tier.
Cloud files
What happens to my files backed up to private Cloud when I downgrade to a lower tier?
First of all, any file that you backed up to private Cloud while on a higher tier can still be accessed and downloaded. However, the number of new files you can back up to your private Cloud will be subject to the different limits in our Free, Pro and Master versions. For example:
- If you were on Master plan and backed up 100 files to your private Cloud and now have downgraded to Pro, you will still be able to download those 100 files. However, you can only back up 50 new private files due to the limit of Pro version.
- If you backed up 30 private files during your Pro trial and now have downgraded to Free version, you can still download those 30 files. However, you cannot back up any new private files because you cannot back up private in Free version.
Please note: Although you can download the private files you backed up while on the higher tier, you will not be able to open any files that were created with features and resources that are only included in the higher tier after you downgrade. For example, if your private file uses a character that's only included in the Master Asset Library, you will only be able to open that file after you resubscribe to Master version.
