How to use a spotlight

The spotlight is a light that shoots rays in a cone shape. A great example of a spotlight is a flashlight.

Change the inner and outer cone

We can further divide the cone of the spotlight into an inner cone and an outer cone. The area inside the inner cone of the spotlight has constant brightness. Brightness falls off gradually in the area between the inner cone and outer cone, thus giving the spotlight a soft edge. The following picture illustrates this idea:

To adjust the inner and outer cone of the spotlight:

• Tap to select the light, and the action menu of the light will show up at the bottom.
• Select brightness action  from the action menu.
• Drag on the slider to change inner or outer cone, or enter text directly by tapping on the number pill.
