Your account, files and purchases

In short, to transition to the new app, you don't need to do anything! We have made every effort to ensure the compatibility of your account and files so that you can lie back and enjoy the new Magic Poser 😃.

How to update the app

At the time of our launch in March 2022, if you have auto-update enabled for App Store, then the new Magic Poser will be automatically installed as an update to the old app. If you do not have auto-update enabled, please go to our app's home page on App Store https://apps.apple.com/us/app/magic-poser-art-pose-tool/id1141755970 and click "Update". Please note that the new Magic Poser will simply be an update to your existing Magic Poser app, it is NOT a separate app.

 

Your Magic Poser account is the same

Your current Magic Poser account will work exactly the same in the new version as in the old one. You can login with the same email/password, Facebook or Apple account that you signed up with.

Your local files are safe

You won't lose any of your current local files after this update. All of your local files can still be opened with the new app, and they will look even better with our enhanced rendering engine! Please make sure that you do not delete the app before you update it, because local files cannot be recovered when you delete the app.

If you do not qualify for the Pro version reward (check New pricing and rewards for existing users for more info), after the extended 1-month Pro version trial, you WILL NOT be able to open any old files that contain multiple models. This is due to the limit of 1 model per scene in the new Free version. Please make sure that you export images from those files during the 1-month Pro trial so that you do not lose your work!

 

Your Cloud files are good to go

All scene files uploaded publicly or privately to the Cloud can still be accessed and downloaded as before.

However, we have some new limits for backing up more files to private Cloud with the introduction of our new pricing tiers:

• Free version users: You cannot back up files to the private Cloud.
• Pro version users: You can back up up to 50 new files to the private Cloud.
• Master version users: You can back up unlimited files to the private Cloud.

Please note, the above limit does not apply to any files you backed up to your private Cloud before the launch of the new Magic Poser on March 16, 2022.

For example, if you have uploaded 100 files to your private Cloud before the launch of the new Magic Poser, you can still download and open those files even if you are not on Master version (although you will not be able to edit files with more than 1 model if you are on Free version). If you are rewarded or purchased the new Pro version, then you can back up 50 more files to your private Cloud.

Your Store purchases are yours to keep

If you have purchased any assets from our previous Store, you have permanent access to everything you bought no matter if you are a Free, Pro or Master user in our new app.

However, you will not be able to purchase any assets individually since all assets will be bundled within either the Free, Pro and Master Asset Library.

 

Prepackaged free models are still yours

The prepackaged free models and props in the current app are still free for existing users in the new app. ("Prepackaged" means the models that came already downloaded with the old app.) This is another exclusive benefit we offer to our existing users! These models are:

• 8 prepackaged free models:
  • 1:7.5 Standard Male (Arnold 1)
  • 1:7.5 Standard Female (Elle 1)
  • 1:7.5 Arnold (Arnold 2)
  • 1:7.5 Elle (Elle 2)
  • 1:8 Yama
  • 1:7.5 Lina
  • 1:7.5 Takumi
  • 1:6 Konata
• The prepackaged free hairstyles and clothing that come with the above models
• The prepackaged free geometric shapes

Wombat Coins are going away

Wombat Coins are going away with the change to Free, Pro and Master Asset Libraries.

But rest assured, we are offering you great loyalty rewards of Pro and Master versions based on how much you have spent on Wombat Coins. The Master version, in particular, provides unlimited access to our entire asset library! (For details, please refer to New pricing and rewards for existing users.) You can also spend any remaining Wombat Coins between now and the launch, and you will get permanent access to what you buy! We believe that migrating from purchasing individual products with Wombat Coins to purchasing different tiers of Asset Libraries will be much better for you and for us long-term.
